The Vale is a round resin globe that hangs from an adjustable chain and glows a warm yellow after dark. It is closer to a decorative object than a functional light, and that is the right way to think about it. Hung from a pergola beam, a tree branch or a covered patio frame, a cluster at staggered heights is what makes this work.
Three diameters are offered, 15 cm, 20 cm and 25 cm. Mixing two or three sizes in one group reads far better than a row of identical spheres, and because they run on solar there is no cable to hide or coordinate. The 500 lumen output is soft rather than bright, enough to define a seating area without lighting the whole garden.
The body is PE with a resin shade, sealed to IP65 so it can hang fully exposed through rain. The chain is adjustable and the fixture will sit correctly on a sloped ceiling as well as a level one. It arrives preassembled and needs no electrician. Site the globes where they catch direct sun during the day, since that is what powers them through the evening.
