Doorways, Fences And Boundaries
At 15 cm wide it is small enough for a doorway, a fence panel or a garden wall without dominating it. Fitted in a row along a boundary it gives an even, unfussy line of light rather than a scattering of odd shapes.
Light Up And Down
The 500 lumen output puts a soft pool of light above and below the fixture rather than flooding the whole elevation, which is usually what you want close to a door where people are standing and talking.
Bamboo Joint In Aluminium
The shape comes from a bamboo joint, a short cylinder with a raised band and a glass panel at each end. The band hides the joint line, so it still looks clean up close on a wall you pass every day.
Frequently asked questions
Black or white, and which colour temperature?
Both finishes are offered in warm 3000K, neutral 4000K and white 5000K. Black disappears against a dark fence or a brick boundary. White stands out on a rendered elevation and reads lighter by day. Warm suits a doorway where people stand, while white reads brighter along a path or a passage.
How does the light fall?
It puts a soft pool of light above and below the fixture rather than flooding the whole elevation. At 5W and 500 lumens that is usually what you want close to a door where people are standing. Fitted in a row along a boundary it gives an even, unfussy line of light.
Can it go somewhere fully exposed?
Yes. The housing is sealed to IP65 for wet locations and full exposure, so a fence panel, a garden wall or an open doorway with nothing overhead is fine. The body is aluminium with a glass panel at each end, both sensible materials for a position that takes rain and sun.
Is there a bulb to replace?
No. The LED is integrated, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to change over its life. That matters on a boundary wall or a fence where access is awkward. It hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection, so a mains supply needs to reach the mounting position.
How big is it on the wall?
15 cm wide and 8 cm high, so it is compact. The shape comes from a bamboo joint, a short horizontal cylinder with a raised band around the middle and a glass panel at each end. The raised band hides the joint line, which keeps it looking clean up close.
