Description
The Denby is a long shallow rectangle that sits flush against a ceiling, only 5 cm deep. That depth, or lack of it, is the reason to choose it. Under a carport, a covered walkway or a low porch soffit there is often no room for anything that hangs, and a bulkhead fitting looks industrial. This gives you a clean lit panel instead.
Four lengths are offered, from 45 cm up to 120 cm, and the output climbs with each one. The shortest suits a small porch or an entrance lobby. The 120cm version at 5000 lumens will light a full carport or a long covered passage on its own without needing a second fixture halfway along. Run two end to end for a continuous line.
The frame is black aluminium with a polycarbonate diffuser that spreads the LED evenly across the whole face, so there is no visible hot spot when you look up at it. The housing is sealed to IP65 for wet locations, which covers wind driven rain under an open sided structure. It hardwires to a standard fixed connection and mounts directly to the ceiling. Two fitted end to end will read as one continuous strip of light rather than two separate fittings.

Light Under Low Ceilings
Carports, covered walkways and low porch soffits rarely have the headroom for a pendant. The Denby sits flush at only 5 cm deep, so you get a lit ceiling panel instead of a bulky bulkhead.
An Evenly Lit Face
The polycarbonate diffuser spreads the LED across the whole face, so looking up you see a soft lit panel rather than a row of bright points. At 5000 lumens the 120cm version covers a full carport on its own.
Black Aluminium, Sealed Housing
The frame is black aluminium and the housing is sealed to IP65, so wind driven rain under an open sided carport is not a problem. The LED is integrated, which means no bulb changes on a ladder later.

Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The LED is integrated into the fixture, so there is no lamp to source and nothing to change later. That matters on a carport or walkway ceiling where getting a ladder up is a job in itself. The polycarbonate diffuser sits over the whole LED face, spreading the light evenly rather than showing bright points.
How does it fix to the ceiling?
It mounts directly against the ceiling and hardwires to a standard fixed connection, so a mains supply needs to be at the position already. There is no drop or chain to allow for, only 5 cm of depth, which is why it suits a low porch soffit or a carport with limited headroom.
Can I fit two in a line?
