Description
The Selby is a narrow vertical strip, 7 cm wide, with an acrylic face set into an aluminium body. It is the kind of fixture that suits a modern facade where you want light without a visible lamp sitting proud of the wall. Mounted in pairs either side of a door, or in a run along a fence line, it gives a clean vertical accent that reads as part of the building rather than an addition to it.
Three sizes are offered, from a compact 20 cm version up to a 61 cm run, and the output rises with each step up the range. The 6W size marks a doorway or a gate without dominating it. The 24W one carries enough light at 2400 lumens to be genuinely useful along a path or a driveway edge. Black and white finishes are both available, so it can either recede or contrast.
This fixture is rated for both dry and wet locations, so it works indoors on a stairwell as readily as outside on an exposed wall with nothing overhead. The LED is integrated with no bulb to replace, and it arrives preassembled out of the box. Hardwiring is to a standard fixed connection, and the fixture mounts flat on a concealed backplate.

Can I use it indoors?
Yes. The Selby is rated for dry and wet locations, so an indoor stairwell, a hallway or a landing works as well as an exposed outside wall. The same fixture covers both, so there is no separate indoor version to look for. Just pick the size that suits the position you have in mind.
Which height should I take?
Three are offered, all 7 cm wide. The 6W is 20 cm high at 600 lumens and suits a doorway or a gate where you want a marker rather than a light. The 18W is 41 cm at 1800 lumens. The 24W is 61 cm at 2400 lumens and is the one for a path or a driveway edge.
Does it come in anything other than black?
Yes. Black and white are both available. Black sits quietly against dark cladding, brick or a charcoal painted facade. White reads cleanly on render and pale brick and keeps the strip visible as a detail by day. The acrylic face and the output are the same in either finish.
How does it fix to the wall?
It mounts flat on a concealed backplate, so nothing shows around the edge once it is up, and it sits close to the surface rather than standing proud. It arrives preassembled, and hardwiring is to a standard fixed connection, so the install is the backplate, the wiring and the fixture itself.
Do I ever need to change a bulb?
No. The LED is integrated, so there is nothing to fit at installation and nothing to unscrew later. The acrylic face sits flush in the aluminium body with no lamp holder behind it, which is how the strip stays this slim. It arrives preassembled, so the only work is the backplate and the wiring.
