Description
The Linden is a small round wall sconce in a soft oval profile, offered in platinum or black gold. It is a quiet fixture, the kind that marks a doorway or lines a corridor without asking to be looked at, and at 6W it produces a gentle wash rather than a working light.
The two finishes read quite differently. Platinum is a pale brushed metal that lifts against brick and dark render and catches daylight, so the fixture stays visible as a detail by day. Black gold is a dark body with a warm metallic edge, which almost disappears against a dark wall and shows itself only when lit. Both take the same fitting, so the choice is purely about how it should sit on the wall.
Two colour temperatures are offered on both finishes: warm white, which is soft and yellow and suits a front door, a balcony or a courtyard, and natural white, which is a cleaner neutral tone that reads better along a corridor or a service route. The housing is sealed to IP65 for fully exposed positions and hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection.

How much light does it actually give?
It is a 7W fixture at 700 lumens, split between an upward and a downward beam. That is enough to light a doorway comfortably and mark a path along a wall, but it is not a driveway floodlight. In a run along a boundary wall the effect comes from several fixtures rather than sheer output from one.
Can it be mounted with nothing above it?
Yes. It is IP65 weather rated for exposed positions, so a front elevation, a boundary wall or a garden wall with no overhang is fine. It hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection and is offered for 100 to 120V and 220 to 240V supplies, so plan a cable to the spot rather than a socket.
Is there a bulb to replace?
No. The LED is integrated into the cast aluminium body, so there is no bulb to buy now and none to change later, and no lamp compartment to open on a wall that gets rained on. That is part of why the fixture stays as small as 11 cm wide and 15 cm high.
Why is the paint slightly uneven at the join?
The manufacturer is upfront about it. The body is cast in sections and the paint process can leave a slight variation where those sections meet. It is characteristic of a cast finish rather than a defect, and on a fixture 11 cm wide it is not something you notice from the path.
