Sized To The Surface
Run one short 20 cm bar up a narrow brick pier, or set the 50 cm version along a fence or the flank of a garage. Choosing the length to suit the surface is what stops the fixture looking bolted on.
Even Face, No Hotspot
The whole face lights rather than a single point behind a lens, so looking straight at the bar does not leave you blinking. On a garden wall the effect is that the wall itself carries the light instead of a row of lamps.
Sealed To IP65
The housing is sealed to IP65, so driving rain and hose spray are not a problem and it can go on a wall with nothing overhead. The LED is integrated and the bar arrives preassembled, ready to hardwire onto a concealed backplate.
Frequently asked questions
Which length should I pick?
There are three. The 20 cm bar is 12W at 1200 lumens and suits a gate post or a narrow pier. The 30 cm bar is 18W at 1800 lumens. The 50 cm bar is 30W at 3000 lumens and has the output to light a path rather than simply mark where it runs.
Can it go on a wall with nothing above it?
Yes. The housing is sealed to IP65, which covers driving rain and hose spray, so it is rated for fully exposed positions with no roof or eave overhead. A porch, a patio wall, a fence panel and a driveway pier all work. It mounts flat on a concealed backplate against the surface.
Can I mount it vertically?
Yes. The bar is made to sit horizontally or vertically, so you can run it along a lintel or stand it upright against a pier or a gate post. The fixture is 8 cm wide and 5 cm deep, which keeps it shallow enough not to look heavy in either orientation.
Which colour temperature works outside?
All three lengths come in warm light at 3000K or white light at 6000K. Warm suits brick, timber and planting, and keeps a garden wall looking relaxed after dark. White at 6000K is the crisper of the two and reads best on grey render, concrete or a flat modern facade.
Is there a bulb to replace?
No. The LED is integrated into the bar, so nothing needs replacing for the working life of the fixture, and there is no lamp holder or glass to open up. It arrives preassembled and hardwires to a standard outdoor connection, so the only work at install is the wiring and the backplate.
