Description
The Reeve is a solar security light in black that fixes with screws and needs no wiring at all. It charges through the day and comes on at dusk by itself, which makes it the practical answer for a gate, a garage or a back door where running a supply would be the expensive part of the job.
Two light colours are offered. Warm light is the softer tone and suits a back door or a garden gate where you want the light to feel welcoming rather than institutional. White light is crisper and shows detail more honestly, which is what you want covering a garage door, a bin store or a side passage where the point is to see clearly.
There is no wiring, no trench, no transformer and no timer to set. Site it where the panel gets several hours of direct sun, because that is what decides how long it runs after dark. A north facing wall or a spot under a tree will leave it running flat early in the evening, which is the usual reason a solar light disappoints rather than any fault in the fitting.

Yes. It is rated for wet locations and can stay outside year round in full exposure. The body is ABS with stainless steel, so there is nothing to bring in over winter. Bear in mind that shorter, duller days mean less charge, so run times are naturally shorter in midwinter than in summer.
