Description
The Brecon is a square section bar with an acrylic diffuser running its length, made to mount horizontally along a wall. The square profile gives it more presence than a flat strip, so it holds its own on a large elevation where a thin bar would look underscaled, while still sitting only 8 cm proud of the surface.
Three wattages are offered, 6W, 18W and 24W, and output rises with each step up the range. That range covers a doorway at one end and a full garage elevation at the other. Two finishes are offered, black and white, so the bar can either hold a line against the wall or settle quietly into it. Black in particular stays visible against render and light stonework.
The body is aluminium with an acrylic face and an integrated LED, so nothing needs replacing over its life. It is sealed to IP65 for fully exposed positions and hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection. It arrives partially assembled rather than fully built, so allow a few extra minutes at installation to put the diffuser and bracket together. Check the wattage against the wall you are lighting before ordering, since the steps between them are large.
