Description

The Prism is a black aluminium cube with an acrylic face, offered at two outputs and in warm, neutral or white light. The head adjusts, so you can aim the beam along a wall, down onto a step, or straight out across a boundary rather than accepting wherever the fixing happens to point it.

The two versions differ in output rather than in shape. The 6W is the quieter of the two, right for a fence post, a step or a run along a boundary. The 12W at 1000 lumens has enough presence to carry a doorway on its own. The choice is about how much light the position needs rather than about proportion on the wall.

The body is aluminium with an acrylic diffuser that spreads the LED evenly across the face. It is rated IP65, so it handles a fully exposed position, and it hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection. The cube is the safest shape in exterior lighting: it suits a modern render facade and an old brick wall equally, and it never looks dated. A run of the 6W version along a fence reads better than one 12W unit alone.

Prism Cube Wall Sconce, Black IP65 Waterproof LED Outdoor Light with R

One Cube, Any Wall

The cube suits a modern render facade and an old brick wall equally, and it does not date. Use the 6W version in a run along a fence or a set of steps, or the 12W on its own beside a doorway.

Outdoor lighting in use

Warm, Neutral Or White

Warm 3000K, neutral 4000K and white 6000K are offered, so the same fixture can sit soft against brick or read crisp against modern render. The temperature is chosen when you order rather than switched afterwards, so settle it before you buy.

Aluminium Body, Acrylic Face

Black aluminium around an acrylic diffuser spreads the LED evenly across the front rather than showing a bright point. It is rated waterproof for wet locations and hardwires to a fixed connection, so plan a wired point at each position.

Frequently asked questions

Which colour temperature should I choose?

Three are offered: warm 3000K, neutral 4000K and white 6000K. Warm keeps a brick or timber wall soft after dark. Neutral is the middle ground and reads clean without going cold. White at 6000K is the crispest and suits modern render or cladding. It is set at purchase rather than switched later, so decide before you order.

Which output should I choose, 6W or 12W?

It depends on how much light the position needs. The 12W gives 1000 lumens and has enough presence to carry a doorway on its own. The 6W draws less and suits a fence post, a step or a run along a boundary where the fixture is marking a line rather than lighting the ground. Both share the same cube shape and the same adjustable head.

Where does a cube shape suit best?

The cube is the safest shape in exterior lighting. It sits equally well on modern render and on old brick, and it never looks dated. A run of the 6W version along a fence or a boundary reads better than one 12W unit on its own. It is rated waterproof for wet locations, so an exposed wall is fine.

How is it powered?

It hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection rather than running from a plug, so plan a wired point at each position before you set the spacing along a fence or a wall. The LED is integrated into the aluminium body at 6W or 12W, so there is no bulb to buy or replace later.

What is the front face made of?

An acrylic diffuser spreads the LED evenly across the front rather than showing a bright point behind it, and the body around it is black aluminium. That combination is what keeps the lit face even at 1000 lumens on the 12W version, and just as even on the 6W.
