The Arden is a wide aluminium fixture with a gently curved face, throwing light out and down across the wall below it. The curve is functional rather than decorative: it spreads the beam sideways as well as downward, which covers considerably more surface than a flat faced fixture of the same width would manage from the same position. It is a shape that suits wide flat elevations where a small square fixture looks lost.
At 30 cm across it is one of the wider sconces in the range, which makes it a good choice where you want a single fixture to do the work of two. Above a garage door, along a low garden wall or centred over a gate, its 1000 lumen output covers a broad area evenly rather than dropping a narrow pool directly beneath it.
The body is aluminium in black or white with an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to source and nothing to replace. It is weather rated for exposed positions and hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection, mounting flat against the wall. At only 7 cm tall it stays visually quiet despite its width, reading as a line rather than a box. A single unit centred above a double garage door usually beats a pair set wide apart.
