Description

The Crest is a black aluminium plate set with a row of small acrylic lenses, each throwing its own narrow beam. Depending on the version there are two, four or six of them, and the result on the wall is a set of overlapping arcs rather than a single wash. It is a genuinely different effect from anything else in the range. That gives the fixture a second effect at ground level that most sconces cannot produce.

The version you choose changes both the pattern and the output substantially. The two lens model at 600 lumens is a subtle accent for a doorway or a fence panel. The six lens version at 1800 lumens covers a broad section of wall and has enough power to light a path running alongside it. All three keep the same shallow profile.

Because the light is delivered through lenses rather than a diffuser, the beams stay tight and the pattern holds its shape even on a wall two or three metres high. The body is aluminium in black with an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to replace, and it is weather rated for exposed positions and hardwires to a fixed outdoor connection. Mounted low on a wall the arcs also catch across a paved surface in front of it.

Crest Wave Wall Light, Black IP65 Waterproof Multi Beam LED Outdoor Sc

Light With A Pattern

A row of acrylic lenses each throws its own narrow beam, so the wall shows a set of overlapping arcs rather than a single wash. On brick, stone or a plain garden wall that pattern is the reason to choose this over a conventional sconce.

Outdoor lighting in use

Arcs Across The Paving

Mounted low, the downward beams catch across the paved surface as well as the wall itself. That second effect at ground level is something most sconces cannot produce, and it is what makes a terrace read as lit rather than merely edged.

Shallow Aluminium Lens Plate

All three versions keep the same shallow profile, so the fixture sits close to the wall whichever you pick. The body is aluminium in black with the LED integrated, which means no bulb to replace and no lamp holder exposed to the weather.

Frequently asked questions

How many lenses should I choose?

Two, four or six. The two lens model at 600 lumens is a subtle accent for a doorway or a single fence panel. The four lens at 1200 lumens covers more wall. The six lens at 1800 lumens spreads across a broad section and has enough output to light a path running alongside the wall.

How do the sizes differ between versions?

The two lens version is 16 cm wide and 20 cm high, so it sits upright. The four lens version turns that around at 20 cm wide and 16 cm high. All versions keep the same shallow profile against the wall, so the depth on the wall does not change with the size you pick.

Why lenses rather than a diffuser?

Because light delivered through lenses stays tight. Each beam keeps its edge, so the pattern of arcs holds its shape even on a wall two or three metres high. A diffuser would blend the same output into a soft even wash and you would lose the overlapping pattern that this fixture exists to produce.

Which colour temperature suits which wall?

Every lens count comes in warm light at 3000K and white light at 5000K. Warm at 3000K sits well on brick, stone and older walls and keeps the arcs feeling soft. White at 5000K gives sharper contrast between the lit arcs and the wall behind, which suits render, concrete or a more modern boundary.

Can it be mounted in an exposed position?

Yes. It is weather rated for exposed positions, so it can go on an open garden wall, a fence or a boundary with nothing overhead. It hardwires to a fixed outdoor connection and the LED is integrated, so once it is installed there is no bulb to change and no lamp holder to keep dry.
