Description
The Comb is a hexagonal fixture in black aluminium with a gold rim around each cell, throwing light up and down from the honeycomb face. Three wattages are offered, from a single hexagon up to a clustered arrangement, so you can build a pattern across a wall rather than repeating one identical unit along it. That flexibility is the reason to choose this one.
Output scales with the number of cells, from 4W on the single up to 10W on the largest arrangement. None of them is a floodlight. This is a decorative fixture: the gold rim catches daylight so it reads as a deliberate detail on the wall even when it is off, which very few outdoor fittings manage. The finish resists fading through repeated seasons of sun and rain exposure.
The body is aluminium throughout with an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to source or replace over its life. It is weather rated to IP55, which handles rain well, though it performs best where there is some shelter rather than on a fully exposed elevation facing driving weather. It hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection. The hexagon silhouette adds quiet geometry to an otherwise plain entry wall.
