Description

The Sabre is a slim horn shaped sconce that tapers away from the wall and throws its light down and outward. The shape is the point: it reads as a piece of trim rather than a light fitting by day, and after dark it lays a soft fan of light down the wall below it.

Four finishes are offered. All black and all white are the plain versions and sit quietly against a matching facade. Golden black and golden white carry a warm metallic edge that catches daylight, so the fitting stays visible as a detail rather than disappearing. All four share the same body and the same 12W output.

Two colour temperatures are available across every finish. Warm white at 3000K is soft and yellow, flatters brick and timber, and is the safer choice beside a front door or along a garden wall. Cold white at 6000K is crisp and reads as a more functional light, better suited to a side passage or a service door. The housing is sealed to IP65 for fully exposed positions and hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection.

Sabre Horn Wall Sconce, Slim Black Gold IP65 Waterproof LED Outdoor Wa

Narrow Piers And Reveals

At 6.5 cm wide it takes up very little wall, which makes it right for a narrow pier or a door reveal where a square block would look clumsy. Repeated down a boundary wall it holds an even rhythm.

Outdoor lighting in use

Moderate Light, Marked Entrance

At 600 lumens it marks an entrance or a step rather than lighting a driveway. That is the right level near a door, where a brighter fitting would glare at anyone standing in front of it waiting to be let in.

Aluminium With Glass Detail

The body is aluminium with a glass element and the LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to source. It is weather rated for exposed positions. Fitted at eye level the flare catches daylight and reads as a considered detail.

Frequently asked questions

Which finish combinations are offered?

Four are offered. All black and all white are the plain versions and sit quietly against a matching facade. Golden black and golden white carry a warm metallic edge that catches daylight, so the fitting stays visible as a detail rather than disappearing into the wall.

How bright is it and what is it for?

At 600 lumens from 6W the output is moderate. That suits marking an entrance, a step or a boundary rather than lighting a driveway. If you need a working level of light across a wide area this is the wrong fixture, but used at eye level down a passage it does exactly what it is meant to.

How much wall does it take up?

Very little. It is only 6.5 cm wide and 18 cm high, so it suits a narrow pier or a door reveal where a square block would look clumsy. The flare from the narrow base still gives it a profile you notice, which is the combination that makes it work on tight surfaces.

Can it go on a fully exposed wall?

Yes. It is IP65 weather rated for exposed positions with nothing overhead, and it hardwires to a standard fixed outdoor connection. The body is aluminium with a glass element and the LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to source or replace over the life of the fixture.

How should several of them be arranged?

At this size a single unit can look small on a broad wall, so it works best repeated. A vertical run along a passage, or even spacing down a boundary wall, suits it well. Fitted at eye level the flare catches daylight and reads as a considered detail rather than a plain fitting.
