The Thatch is a small open cage pendant that runs on solar, offered with either an iron frame or a woven rattan one. The two versions read quite differently: the iron is graphic and slightly industrial, the rattan is softer and more farmhouse in feel. Both hang from a chain and neither needs any wiring, which is the point of the fixture.
This is decorative lighting in the most literal sense. At 6 lumens it produces a soft glow, the equivalent of a candle in a lantern rather than a working light. Hung in a group of three or five under a pergola, along a covered walk or through the branches of a tree, that low output is exactly right and a brighter version would ruin it.
It is rated IP44, which handles rain but is best under a beam or a canopy rather than fully exposed to driving weather.
