Description
A wall lantern with an aluminum frame and a faux marble shade, offered in black or bronze. The marble effect is what sets it apart from the usual glass or acrylic: light passes through it unevenly, so the shade glows with a soft mottled quality rather than a flat panel of brightness.
It is made in a single size, which suits a standard front door as readily as a wider entry or a facade with height to fill. It is rated IP65, so it can go on a fully exposed wall with no overhang above it. It mounts over a standard junction box.
It arrives partly assembled and takes one E26 bulb, which is not supplied. Because the shade diffuses so much of the light, choose a bulb with reasonable output or the fixture will read dimmer than you expect. Something around eight hundred lumens in a warm white near 2700K works well with both finishes. Mount a pair either side of a door at the height of the door handle plus about 120 cm, which is the height most entryways look right at.

A pair either side of an entrance is the classic use. It is scaled for a standard door and still holds its own on a wide entry or a facade with height to fill.
Light Through Marble, Not Glass
Light passes unevenly through the faux marble, so the shade glows with a mottled quality instead of a flat bright panel. Because so much output is diffused, fit a bulb around eight hundred lumens or the lantern will read dimmer than expected.
Aluminium Frame, Standard Fitting
The frame is aluminium in black or bronze, and it arrives partly assembled to mount over a standard junction box. It takes one E26 bulb, so you choose the output and colour rather than being locked to a fixed LED.

Is there more than one size?
No, it is made in a single size, so the only choice is the finish. It is scaled for a standard front door or a side entrance and still reads well on a wider entry. Mounted as a pair either side of a door it frames the entrance without crowding it.
Is a bulb included?
No. It takes one E26 bulb, supplied separately, which lets you set the output and colour yourself. Because the faux marble shade diffuses so much light, aim for around eight hundred lumens rather than something modest. A warm white near 2700K flatters both the black and the bronze finish.
Can it go on a wall with no porch above it?
Yes. It is rated IP65, so a fully exposed wall with no overhang is fine. That means you can fit it on a gable end, a garage side or a plain facade rather than restricting it to a sheltered doorway. The frame is aluminium and the shade is faux marble, and it mounts over a standard junction box.
Which finish suits which house?
Black works with grey render, dark window frames and modern brick, and it reads as a quiet outline against a pale wall. Bronze warms up red brick, stone and timber, and it is more noticeable during the day. Both finishes are otherwise identical, so the choice is purely about the wall behind it.
How high should I mount a pair?
A useful rule is the height of the door handle plus about 120 cm, which lands most entryways in the right place. Set both lanterns at the same height either side of the door, and allow for how far the lantern stands off the wall when the door swings past it.
